About Us

The Dixie Grill is a full service Southern restaurant, established in 1959 by Mr. & Mrs. Wade and has become a landmark in Live Oak. Charles and Myra began their restaurant careers in 1984, but have recently retired from the business. Robbie & Rebecca have taken over the daily operations. Robbie has handed over the kitchen to the Award Winning Chef (& beautiful wife) Rebecca Thomas. Rebecca is a graduate of Johnson & Wales Culinary School in Miami. She worked at MC Kitchen under Executive Chef Dena Marino and Sous Chef Victor Torro. She has used her knowledge, training, and passion to push Dixie Grill & her husband to new heights. Robbie has taken the role of General Manager.

Pushing boundaries has always been his thing. The husband and wife team just like his parents are mavericks too, taking on new and exciting business ventures. Together they are investing in the staff to create a Dixie Grill with elevated cuisine and service.
