“I recently visited the Dixie Grill at 101 Dowling Ave SE, in Live Oak, FL. I walked in and was quickly greeted and seated. I ordered the basic bacon, eggs, grits, and a delicious biscuit. It was well worth my visit there. It's also home of a Pillsbury Bake champion and I will be back to try some of her baked goodies. Make this a stop when in the area”

“What a lovely surprise on our way home to Atlanta from a scuba trip to West Palm Beach. The breakfast skillet was delicious, the apple fritter amazing. The biscuits are really good biscuits and their complimentary famous Pillsbury award winning Becca’s Biscuit Bombs were the bomb. Staff super friendly and accommodating. My husband had a Dixie burger And my mom had the chicken fried steak Everyone loved their food The vegetables taste home-cooked The biscuits are awesome. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. “I've eaten here several times, and I think my only complaint is they give you too much food! Seriously, that's not a complaint. I had breakfast here this morning, and it was delicious. Eggs over medium, sausage patties, grits, and potatoes with onions and peppers. The grits were fantastic, perhaps the best I've had anywhere. Also, try the coconut cream pie. My server was very attentive and nice as could be.”

“The Dixie Grill is a must if you are passing thru Live Oak, or it is worth the few minute drive from the interstate. The Paul Bunyan was excellent and plenty of food. My family had the waffle and pancakes combo. Would definitely recommend this and we will be back on our next trip through.”
